Everyday heroes are being celebrated in a new campaign.

Eden Shopping Centre is inviting the public to nominate individuals for its 12 Stars of Eden campaign, which aims to honour people who make a difference in their communities.

Tony Parrott, deputy centre manager at Eden, said: "During the festive season, it’s important to recognise the people who quietly make a huge difference every day.

"With the 12 Stars of Eden, we’re giving our community a chance to say thank you and share their stories with the wider public."

The scheme is open to anyone who knows someone deserving of recognition.

Nominations can be submitted online via the Eden website by sharing the nominee’s name, role, and why they should be celebrated.

A panel, including Mr Parrott and a representative from Eden’s charity partner Heart of Bucks, will review all entries.

Heart of Bucks is the community foundation for Buckinghamshire, supporting people and projects across the county through grant funding and charitable giving.

The individuals selected will each receive a gift from the centre, such as a retailer voucher of their choice.

Nominations are open until the end of November.
