Driver who evaded police in High Wycombe caught in Aylesbury
A 21-year-old has been given 12 month suspended prison sentenced and been disqualified from driving for 24 months after taking police on two car chases.
Aaron Vass, of Stonebridge Road managed to lose officers on May 8 when he was spotted speeding on West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe travelling at speeds in excess of 90mph.
Eight days later on May 16 he was seen driving the same vehicle in Aylesbury and this time he was stopped on Marsh Lane, Stoke Mandeville with a tactical stop.

He was then arrested and charged the same day and later pleaded guilty to two counts of dangerous driving and two counts of driving without insurance.
He was convicted May 17 at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court and sentenced on Aylesbury Crown Court on July 16.
Vass will also undergo 200 hours of unpaid, have his van destroyed, and pay costs of £50 as well as required to take an extended re-test.
PC Alistair Bennet, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit based at Amersham, said: “Vass drove recklessly and put other road users at risk.
“What is more astonishing is that he tried to evade police in the first place as his licence had been revoked and had he stopped on the day he would have been dealt with through a ticket.
“His dangerous driving has led him to being given a suspended sentence and if he offends again he will end up in prison.
“Driving at excess speed puts other motorists at great risk and is one of the fatal four.
“We will always look to catch those driving recklessly and bring them before the courts to face justice.”
