Buckinghamshire Council has announced several changes to parking regulations across Gerrards Cross.

Under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the council has proposed amendments to the Prohibition of Waiting, Loading, and Stopping, and On-Street Parking Places Order 2021.

These changes are set to impact several roads in the area.

The proposed amendments include the introduction of 'no waiting at any time' restrictions, where double yellow lines will be put in place on Gaviots Green, Dukes Wood Avenue, and West Common Road.

These double yellow lines will be in effect 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

On Fulmer Way, the waiting period will also be increased from one hour to two hours.

Marsham Way will see the removal of its existing 'no waiting at any time' restriction, with the introduction of a 'limited waiting' period of one hour.

This will also be increased to two hours, with a no-return period of four hours.

Double yellow lines will also be introduced between parking bays on Bulstrode Way, along with 'no loading at any time' restrictions, indicated by double blips.

Meanwhile, South Park View will see the removal of its current double yellow lines, and Vicarage Way will have its limited waiting period increased from one hour to two hours, with a no-return period of four hours.

The council has urged residents to review the proposed changes and provide feedback.

The full list of roads affected, along with a plan showing the length of road affected, can be viewed from Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm, at Buckinghamshire Council, Council Access Plus, Walton Street, Aylesbury.

The council has asked for comments and objections to be made in writing by 11.59pm on Sunday, August 30.

In other news, Urban Trucking Ltd has applied for a Goods Vehicle Operator’s Licence to use Wycombe Air Park, Booker, as an operating centre for three goods vehicles and three trailers.

Dhagaweele Transport Ltd is also applying for a licence to use the air park as an operating centre for one vehicle and one trailer.

Super Mario Group Ltd is applying for a licence to use Plot 2, Wycombe Air Park, for five goods vehicles and five trailers.

Jas Prime Transport Ltd is applying for a licence to use Plot 3, Wycombe Air Park, for two goods vehicles and two trailers.

Owners or occupiers of land near the operating centres who believe their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected should make written representations to the Traffic Commissioner at Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7UE, stating their reasons within 21 days of this notice.

Representors must also send a copy of their representations to the applicant at the address given at the top of this notice.

Finally, Leaf Water has issued a temporary ban on certain uses of water due to the current dry weather.

The restrictions, which started on Friday, July 31, apply to the use of a hosepipe, including using sprinklers, dripper hoses, automatic irrigation systems, and similar devices.

This includes watering a garden, cleaning a private motor vehicle, watering plants on domestic or other non-commercial premises, cleaning a private leisure boat, filling or maintaining a swimming pool, and several other uses.

The restriction applies to several Leaf Water areas, including Lower Mount Farm, Cookham.
