A dispersal order is currently in place in High Wycombe town centre and surrounding areas.

Thames Valley Police said the decision follows concerns about expected anti-social behaviour around the bus station due to the beginning of the summer holidays.

A spokesman for the organisation said: "Please adhere to the order to avoid the risk of being arrested."

The Section 34 dispersal order gives officers the power to move on individuals or groups causing a nuisance. Anyone dispersed who refuses to comply with the order is liable to be arrested.

The order is currently in place until 12pm tomorrow, but police have the option to extend if it is necessary.

Police will be in the area for the remainder of the day.
