Commuters hoping to head into London from two Buckinghamshire Railway Stations will face delays and even cancellations.

During the morning rush hour on Tuesday, November 4, Chiltern Railways confirmed that ‘fewer trains will run between Aylesbury and Amersham as a result of a signalling issue.

The railway line has confirmed that the disruption is expected to last until 10 am today, and that ‘services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or diverted between Aylesbury and London Marylebone’.

They said: “Due to a fault with the signalling system between Aylesbury and Amersham, fewer trains are able to run on the line towards London.

“We're sorry for the delay to your journey.

“If you have been delayed by 15 minutes or more, then you are likely to be entitled to compensation.”

Information about compensation can be found on the Chiltern Railways website.
