A charity dance event is set to raise funds for a vital air ambulance service.

The Line and Barn Dance, organised by two professional line dancers, will take place at the Amersham British Legion on Friday, December 19, at 7pm.

Every penny from the evening will be donated to the Thames Valley Air Ambulance, which provides critical life-saving services throughout the region.

The Air Ambulance service is a charity which provides hospital-level care in the community when required.

It is not government or NHS funded, meaning it relies on donations to carry out its work.

The organisers of the event hope to gather a significant donation for the air ambulance, which relies on public support to continue its operations.

Colleen Frazer, one of the organisers said: "We’re hoping for a fantastic turnout, a great evening of dancing, laughter, and community spirit, all in aid of a cause that means so much to us."

She added: "Events like these show the incredible impact of local people coming together, and we’d love to inspire others to get involved too."

Tickets, priced at £15, include hot dogs and snacks.

A bar will also be open throughout the night.
