Young people are playing a key role in supporting those facing hardship.

Through donations and fundraising, schools and youth groups are helping families in need by backing the work of foodbank One Can Trust.

A recent delivery of supplies was made by the school council at Holmer Green First School, while 3rd Marlow Bottom Cubs and Beavers completed their third mini marathon fundraiser.

Helen Foster, food and partnerships manager at One Can Trust, said: "It was wonderful to see so many young people giving their time and energy to help others.

"Our thanks go to everyone associated with the Cubs and Beavers.

"They are a brilliant group of people, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued support."

Growing demand means the charity now needs £45,000 a month to operate, alongside more than £50,000 in donated food and essentials.
