A frequently used coffee shop in Beaconsfield has received a new hygiene score.

Costa Coffee, which is based along Burkes Road in the town, was visited by inspectors from Buckinghamshire Council on November 13.

The assessors were impressed with what they as the café got a rating of 5/5 – the highest grade possible.

During the inspection, Buckinghamshire Council said that the business’ hygiene/safety, structural compliance and confidence in management were all ‘very good’.

On Google, the Beaconsfield Costa Coffee branch has a rating of 3.9/5 from 414 reviews.

One reads: “The staff were friendly and helpful.

“The drinks were made well and very tasty! The millionaire's shortbread was yummy.”

As well as Beaconsfield, there are branches in Hazlemere, High Wycombe, Bourne End, Loudwater, Marlow, Great Missenden, Aylesbury, Chesham, Amersham and Princes Risborough.
