A café in Amersham is celebrating after it received a new positive hygiene score following a recent inspection.

The Kings Roast Coffee House along the Raans Road in the town was assessed by Buckinghamshire Council on November 21.

They were impressed with what they saw, as they gave the establishment a rating of 5/5 – the highest score possible.

During the inspection, the assessors said that the Coffee Houses’ hygiene, structural compliance and confidence in management were all ‘good’.

On Google, the business has an average score of 4.6/5 from eight reviews.

One reads: “Exceptionally fresh coffee in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Utterly fantastic.”

Another reads: “Met for peppermint tea with a friend, very enjoyable. First time I have been there.”
