A bus driver has been pulled over by police after being caught speeding at 11mph over the limit.

Officers stopped the green bus on Amersham Road, Little Chalfont on Tuesday, September 30 as part of a speeding crackdown in the area.

The speed limit on that road is 30mph.

But the bus driver was caught doing 41mph, the force claimed.

A total of 11 speeding offences were recorded in just over an hour with one motorist recorded at 49mph.

In a post on social media, TVP Roads Policing said: "All eleven drivers were reported for the offences and their outcomes will include education courses and points/fines depending on their speed.

"Remember, it’s 30 for a reason."
