A Bucks pub and restaurant have been celebrating being named in the AA Restaurant Guide 2026.

The Jolly Cricketers in Seer Green and The Greyhound in Beaconsfield have shared their congratulations and gratitude to their teams for the achievement.

In a social media post, The Jolly Cricketers, a village pub, said: "Congratulations to the whole team for achieving an AA Rosette in the 2026 AA Restaurant Guide Book.

"Great to know a high standard of consistency has been kept since 2008."

It is described in the guide as having 'hearty cooking' in a 'quintessential' and 'unspoilt' pub.

The Greyhound shared an image of its team with the plate awarded for its three AA Rosettes.

It said: "Hard work, creativity and a whole lot of passion behind every plate.

"We’re so proud of George and our kitchen team for being recognised with a three AA Rosettes."

AA Rosettes are split across different levels with 'culinary excellence and dedication to ensure consistent quality of the highest order' becoming multi-rosette-winning.

On the 2026 guide, the company stated: "The much-loved AA Restaurant Guide has been updated for 2026 and features over 1,560 restaurants inspected by the AA and awarded Rosettes for culinary excellence."

The new edition of the A5-sized guide features an AA 2026 Restaurant of the Year award section and a top 10 per cent list.

On its website, the AA said: "Organised by country, then county, and listed alphabetically by location, it features more images to tantalise tastebuds, plus essential details like contact information, restaurant descriptions, chefs and food style, making this a food lover’s ideal guide for enjoying the best cuisine."
