THIS week is the first of a two-part article in the series looking at the recent history of the main streets in Wycombe town centre.

We began the series on February 12 when we looked at the old St Mary St, which led from the bottom of Marlow Hill towards the town centre as far as Pauls Row.

Now we take a look at Pauls Row itself, which leads to the cross-roads with the High St, White Hart St and Church St.

This week we will concentrate on some of the events which took place in the different buildings in Pauls Row, next week we look at the buildings themselves.
