A Bucks town environmental campaign group has presented a plaque to a local employee-owned balloon business, which has "entirely removed plastic" from its product range.

Plastic Free Chesham handed the award to B-Loony, a Chesham-based manufacturer of printed balloons.

The group, supported by Chesham Town Council and Sustainable Chesham, is working to gain the nationally recognised Plastic Free Community Award for the area by reducing the amount of single-use plastic in the community.

It is part of an initiative launched by Surfers Against Sewage.

B-Loony is not the only establishment to get involved.

The campaign group has also handed a certificate of commitment to Chesham Methodist Church, welcoming it as a community ally and business champion.

This was the first partnership of its kind for the Chesham campaign.
