A festive giving campaign has delivered hundreds of gift boxes to families and frontline workers.

A total of 302 Christmas boxes were distributed across Buckinghamshire through the Kindness in Bucks 2025 Christmas Appeal.

Kindness in Bucks, a volunteer-run community interest company, collected and delivered the boxes to organisations supporting families, children, new mothers and frontline workers.

The boxes were donated by families, schools, Scouts and guide groups, local businesses and individuals from across the county.

Recipients included maternity and neonatal teams, families facing financial hardship, and key workers (NHS staff and firefighters) who continued to support the community throughout Christmas.

A spokesperson for the Emerald Team at Stoke Mandeville Hospital said: "On behalf of the Emerald Team, midwives, mothers, and babies, we want to say a big thank you for all the presents and your continued support.

"You have put a smile on hundreds of faces, everyone is super grateful.

"We wish the whole team a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year."

Kindness in Bucks is known for its baby baskets, free community events, and seasonal appeals.

It is run entirely by volunteers and supported entirely through donations.

Alison Harper, co-founder of Kindness in Bucks, said: "This campaign really shows what Buckinghamshire is all about.

"Every box represents kindness from a local person - a family buying an extra gift, a school rallying together, or a business choosing to give back."
