Sing and dance to 70’s classics this Autumn in Bucks.

Showing at the Waterside Theatre and the Wycombe Swan, ‘Rip It Up The 70’s’ guarantees to bring the sounds of disco, glam rock, punk, funk, new wave and reggae to the stage with it’s star-studded cast.

Blue singer Lee Ryan is used to singing with the band including representing the UK in Eurovision 2011.

He’s joined by Olympian Louis Smith MBE who also performed in ‘Rip it up the 50’s’ and ‘60’s’ for the Last two years.

As well as obtaining silver medals at the Olympics, he won Strictly Come Dancing in 2012 so isn’t shy to bust a few moves.

Former S-club 7 member Rachel Stevens and previous member of the Pussycat Dolls Melody Thornton make up the group who are ready to stun the crowd in bold fashion statements such as hot pants, flares, jumpsuits and platform shoes.

Melody said: “Singing, dancing, ‘70s pop culture and fashions are lifelong passions of mine, so I jumped at the chance to appear in Rip It Up The 70s.

“I’m excited to show UK audiences exactly what I can do. I can’t wait to be part of what is going to be the most exhilarating show and an amazing tour with such a mind-blowing soundtrack.”

‘Rip It Up The 70’s’ will be showing at the Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury on September 24, and at the Wycombe Swan on October 3.
