There is a definite end-of-summer feel to this week’s Camera Club pictures, with our snappers capturing everything from a noisy red kite to a garden full of smaller, but no less important, visitors.

Ripe blackberries bring a taste of the season, while a beautiful painted lady butterfly makes the most of the remaining sunshine. A group of sparrows also proves that sometimes the simplest creatures can make the best subjects.

The warm weather and sunshine look set to continue into the third week of September, with temperatures of up to 24C expected on Monday. Forecasters are predicting a mix of patchy cloud and sunshine over the weekend.

Thanks, as always, to everyone who has contributed. If you’d like to join in the fun, search for Bucks Free Press Camera Club on Facebook and start snapping away.
