A popular pub that suddenly closed at the start of 2025 is due to reopen this year.

The Beech Tree, which is based along the Amersham Road in Hazlemere, confirmed its closure in May of last year after the previous management team admitted to facing 'various challenges' during their time in charge.

However, the venue just outside High Wycombe is set relaunch under new ownership.

A social media post has confirmed that the Beech Tree’s official reopening is due to take place on Friday, March 6.

It reads: “The wait is over!

“We are thrilled to announce that The Beech Tree is officially re-opening its doors on Friday, March 6, so come down and join us from 2:00 PM to enjoy a cold pint, a warm atmosphere, and the best company in town.

“To make the night even more special, we’ve got live music kicking off at 8:00 PM to keep the celebrations going late into the evening.”

Following their closure in May of last year, a licensing application was put forward to Buckinghamshire Council in July.

The new licensing variation application requested to change the pub's Designated Premises Supervisor.

It described the pub saying it is a " community local pub, one bar operation with restaurant and garden with children's play equipment."

On Google, the pub has an average score of 4/5 from 378 reviews.

One reads: “We held our wedding reception at The Beech Tree and booked it at the last minute due to being let down by another venue.

“Courtney and her team were exceptional, the food was great, and the venue looked fabulous. Thank you so much for saving our event and making it so memorable."
